What makes me Crazy in “Crazy Little Thing Called Love”

When i saw it trending in twitter, curiosity comes up in my mind. What is this “crazy little thing called love?” is all about. Is it a movie?, is it a tv series?, tv episode? so I immediately checked it through online.

Ah, ok so it is a movie, a romantic movie. I only have selected movies in my memory and most of them are romantic ones. And since it was trending in twitter, so better to check it out to find out why it is trending. I know that something on that movie would tickle my bones. I am definitely sure.

But after that, let me tell you one thing. I have a good friend who highly recommended that movie and kept on telling me and forcing me to watch it so I won’t miss half of my life. I told her “Oh, c’mon! I had lots of friends who had told me that this movie was awesome but later on it was a trash one.” Or maybe they just want me to waste my time.

Anyway, to cut it short, I downloaded it through torrent, (by the way, thanks to Torrent 2.2.1). I have been downloading a lot of movies through this application. And luckily, after a day of downloading, it was there 100% finished.

That same night, I was a little bit sleepy so I could not bear reading the English subtitle so I decided to stop it and continue on next day. It was only the next day I appreciate the movie. For me, it is the best romantic teenage movie that I have ever watched, something that everyone can relate into.

I really could not imagine myself, repeating all the scenes for how many times because it simply brings back my teenage years. I’m in my late 20’s yet I could not even control myself to shudder in delight (meaning kinilig ng husto). It started from M1 which I believe is a freshman high in Thailand then ends in M3 (since Thailand has Grade 7 so that would be equivalent into 3 in high school if you compare it in Philippines so M3 is 4^th year high).

It was A definitely must see movie, tandem of Nam and P Shone to watch out for and a hilarious antics and comedy lines of Teacher In. And since my friend is highly recommending it, I would 100% do the same thing. 

This made me crazy…and I want you to experience crazy - little thing called love….

Wala naman kasing tamang formula kapag in love. You just feel it, kesehodang sobrang tamis o sobrang anghang ang pagmamahal mo sa isang tao. Walang keber, kasi mahal mo nga.

Pero kapag napuno ka at feeling mo walang patutunguhan ang relasyon ninyo. Mapapaisip ka na lang na “Teka, bakit ang tanga tanga ko noon? Dapat hindi ko yun ginawa. Dapat ito ang ginawa ko.” 

Pero nung time na yun, hindi mo naisip yun. Give ka lang ng give, ika nga.

Meron pa nga akong isang kaibigan na panay ang kulit sa akin kung ok ba yun hinahanda niyang surprise sa girlfriend niya. Birthday kasi ng gf niya eh first time nilang i-cecelebrate yun as bf gf. Pinag-isipan niya talaga ng husto, ni ultimong toothpick na gagamitin ng mga inimbitahan niya, may decoration saan ka pa? Pero anong nangyari, noong naghiwalay sila, sangkaterbang “Sana hindi na lang siya”, “Sana iba na lang”, “Sana hindi ako tanga” at kung anu ano pa.

Pagkaraan ng ilang taon, nagka chat kami, tinanong ko siya. “Kumusta na, anong balita na sayo?, “Ok lang naman, eto may asawa na” ang sagot naman niya. So ganun ka pa rin ba kada birthday ng misis mo, engrande pa rin ba? Ang sagot sa akin. Isang malutong na "Hahahaha" with smiling emoticons pa ha. 

Ganun lang talaga ang buhay, tatawanan mo na lang pagkalipas ng ilang mga taon. Ang mga kahibangan o kabaliwan mo sa pag ibig. Pag nakahanap ka na ng iba, lalo na kapag nakapag asawa ka, isang alaala na lang ang lahat. 

Meron pa akong isang kaibigan. Hindi naman siya mahal nung girl, may mahal na iba. Yung mahal niyang iyun eh hindi rin naman siya ganun kamahal. Magulo ba? Ako din naguguluhan sa kinukuwento ko. Yun na nga, itong kaibigan kong ito, sobrang tinding magmahal, lahat gagawin para lang mahalin siya nung girl. In short, tanga. 

Dumating pa sa point na muntik na siyang magpakamatay kasi nga hindi siya makuhang mahalin ng taong mahal niya na iba ang mahal. Ang ending, natauhan din siya.

Kung dati ang parati niyang sinasabi sa akin “Hindi, iba ito eh. Ibang feeling ito, masyadong malalim. Mahal na mahal ko siya. Hindi ko pa ito nararamdaman kahit kanino.” Tanungin nyo ako kung anong nangyari dun sa kaibigan kong iyon after 3 years. Hayun, may asawa na, pero hindi dun sa girl na may mahal na iba kundi ibang girl na. Tinanong ko siya “O, anong nangyari dun sa nararamdaman mo before?” Sabi niya, “Hehehe”. As usual parehas nung isa kong kaibigan with smiling emoticons uli.

Hindi nga ba't ang sarap pag-antugin ng dalawang kaibigan kong ito. Minsan lang daw nila naramdaman iyon pero after ilang years, iba na ang sinasabi, tinatawanan na lang ako. Consistent sila sa pagiging inconsistent ika nga.

May mga ibang kwento naman na pang MMK, yung mga tipong ‘you and me against the world’ o kaya yung mga tipong “Sana Dalawa Ang Puso Ko”. Pero siyempre mas gugustuhin ko na ang ‘you and me against the world’ kesa naman dun sa isa kasi pwede pang mabago ang word na “against” at palitan ng “agree”, yung dalawa  kasi mahirap na, baka madagdagan pa ng isa o dalawa pa uli, eh di tatlo o apat na yun.

Pero bilib din ako sa napagsasabay ang mga karelasyon, may 1, may 2, may 3 at may 4. Iisa lang pala ang sikreto doon, dapat iisa ang tawag mo sa kanila. Consistent dapat. Saturday is considered really as my day off because Friday turns up to be as my working day since I'm getting up early to laundry my clothes, shop for one week grocery, cleaning my room and other household chores. During Saturdays, that's the day I gotta spend my whole day with my friends, plan to go somewhere else, or just stay home and relax. I hope I will win in this competition so I could have something to remember or cherish from Aquarius and Radisson Blu...

Happy Hearts Day!!!

A friend asks me how I would spend my Valentines today. That’s actually everyone’s question to one another; to our friends, officemates, schoolmates, housemates and even to ourselves. We often ask, “Where am I going today?”, “To whom I’m gonna spend it with?” or if you are in relationship, you will be wondering what your partner’s plan is today.

But one thing is for sure, restaurants and hotels are fully booked today until tomorrow. For those who are worrying, here are the tips I have listed which might be effective if you will try.

For singles out there: (Shoutout: “Happy Independence Day”)

Heart’s Day is around the corner again. Most of the singles you will often hear that they would rather stay at home, watch a movie or just treat it as an ordinary day. But whether we like it or not, it will surely pass just like Christmas, New Year and other holidays. So instead of worrying, why not celebrate it with the people you love?

1.  Don’t feel alone

Don’t let this day traps you for loneliness. You are right, you are single but that doesn’t mean you are alone. Treat yourself with a new mobile or a new dress. Pamper yourself. If you have not received flowers or chocolates today, that doesn’t mean you are not loved. Your happiness is not dependent to someone; it is your choice to be happy.

2. Spend it with friends
Take note the word “friends”. For sure, you have lots of friends who are still single just like you. Maybe by choice or maybe they don’t have options (joke). Change the Valentines Day to Friendship Day. Plan girls’ night out, go and watch movies or you could go to your friend’s house and sing all night long. Just make sure that your voice might not start any conflict to his/her neighborhood.

3. Don’t get envious to your friends
If your friends are “taken” then don’t feel sorry for yourself. Smile because that only means God is preparing something or someone for you. You will get surprised if you will receive a call from your mobile asking for a date and who knows that is what you have been wishing for; your long time crush back in high school. Voila! That means miracle only happens to those who wait, believe and pray.

4. Don’t bother your EX
Remember, your EX is already an EX! Don’t try to contact him/ her just because you don’t want to be alone today. Maybe your ex has already moved on, has already someone special to spend the Valentines with so why bothered him/her. You will just hit your head in the wall if you will invite him for a date and he will answer you back “I am sorry, I have already plans for this day.” (ouch!). So better remind yourself that your relationship is over and that you are better off now.

For couples out there: (Shoutout: “Happy New Year”) – it’s up to you what does it mean, hehe…
Today is actually your day! And for those who are celebrating it for nth time, treat this as if it is your first, be it with your girlfriend or wife. Key words are “Keep the fire burning”.

1. Be creative
Creativity comes naturally; you don’t need to have talent to show it off. If you love your partner, you can think of something unique to make him feel really extra special. There are so many ways to prove it, depending on your budget also. The essence of surprise is not counted on its worth but the impact of the word itself.

2. Quality Time
This is actually the best gift you could give to your partner. Sometimes, we are preoccupied from work that we tend to forget that today is Valentines Day that we only remember if we saw someone’s holding bouquet of flowers or if your colleague greeted you. Relax: your partner does not want either a dinner in a fancy restaurant or an expensive gift; what he needs is you and the quality time that you could give to him today.

3. Be considerate
The main problem in any relationship is when you expect something and it didn’t reach from your expectation and you get hurt. Most of the times, women are expecting too much from men during Hearts Day. They are often wondering what’s stored for them today. And if they did not receive anything coming from their husband or boyfriend, most of them are assuming that they have another woman aside from them. Talk to them, try to listen and understand their thoughts.

4. Breaking up
Don’t ever think of breaking up with someone during this day or you will end up being cursed by him/her if you insist to. If you want to dump someone, then do it some other day. Remember that we have 365 days in the calendar so better to cross out this date if you are planning to break up with your partner.
